Eat Lunch Out and Lose Weight

Eating lunch out is a way of life for a small business person. Great for the bottom
line, but not so for your waistline. Here is the solution in just three simple words.
"Omit the protein." You know, meat, eggs, cheese, nuts or
seeds. Uh-oh, you're thinking what's left? Actually, a lot of choices.
Pasta, a potato prepared the way you like it most, whole-grain
bread, even some brown rice along with vegetables to give flavor and taste. The noon
meal should be the most satisfying and biggest meal of the day. A good point to
remember about starchy foods is that they should have lots of color. "Starches that
are white are trite ... almost totally void of nutrients."
Keep this in mind when eating starches, especially when it comes
to bread ... "the whiter the bread, the wider the spread, the sooner you're dead!"
Try not to eat any raw onions or tomatoes at this meal. These foods make it too hard
for the starch digestive process.
The benefit of eating starches for lunch is it helps to build
that sustaining energy we need for the rest of the day. It's one of those energy
gaining and not energy draining foods.
Remember--Bask in the miracle of the dynamically wonderful you
AND still close that business deal over a great lunch.
