Leading experts, entrepreneurs and consultants are featured. Check out the business profile on page 44.

Title: Rich Dad, Poor Dad What the rich teach their kids about money that the poor and middle class do not!

Absolutely recommended to all who have any aspirations of financial security or true wealth. Easily readable. There are many financial books but few that have engaged my mind and beliefs as this one has. Read it. Then read his subsequent books that build on this one, Cashflow Quadrant and Guide to Investing.

If you are self-employed, READ THIS BOOK! You will gain a surprising insight to your financial concepts. Very illuminating. A must read.

Title: Rich Dad's Guide To Investing What the Rich Invest In, That The Poor and Middle Class Do Not!

This is the third book in Robert Kiyosaki's series. This book is definitely an advanced course in financial literacy. If you've read the first two (see above), you're ready for this one.

Title: Retire Young, Retire Rich: How to Get Rich Quickly and Stay Rich Forever!

In Retire Young, Retire Rich, Kiyosaki is hitting his stride. This book is smoother and more advanced than his past books. So much so, that I strongly recommend that you read Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Cashflow Quadrant first. I found it so thought provoking that it was hard to read more than a few pages at a time without going "Ah-Ha!" and mentally zooming off to ideas on how I could apply it, right now, today.

In 1980, I graduated at the top of my class and I've spent twenty years developing my financial knowledge base. But I can tell you, I've learned more from Kiyosaki about the fundamentals of financial literacy than from any other single influence.

Title: Adams Streetwise Small Business Start-Up: Your Comprehensive Guide to Starting and Managing a Business

Excellent foundation book for starting your own business. Hits a lick on all aspects from accounting recommendations to marketing, and much more. Good three way presentation: (1) in depth; (2) quick Q A; and (3) stories with graphics. One of them is bound to match your learning style.

Title: Guerilla Marketing: Secrets for Making Big Profits from Your Small Business

When Guerilla Marketing was published in 1983, Jay Levinson was the first to present this innovative, take-no-prisoners approach to marketing for the small business owner. Now completely revised, Levinson identifies how to reach the fastest-growing markets of the '90s.

Title: Words That Sell: A Thesaurus to Help Promote Your Products, Services, and Ideas.

Good glossary of words proven to be effective in ads, flyers, and other marketing pieces. A great hit list that will insure your creative output is financially successful. I never write an ad without this book beside me.

Very readable. Good book for getting an easily understood grasp of the history and future of computer technology. Helps open your mind to the tangible possibilities of technology in the future which will enable you to better position your business to stay in the flow of growing profits.

Title: God Wants You to Be Rich: How and Why Everyone Can Enjoy Material and Spiritual Wealth in Our Abundant World

A religious book on economic theory? Kinda, but don't get hung up on the title. Very readable book. Honest! Pilzer, who was an economic advisor to Presidents Reagan and Bush, builds a solid case for the unique idea that we have UNlimited resources (contrary to ECON 101). Shrewd insight into where business is heading in the next two decades. Touts entrepreneurship as likely outcome. Read to help fortify your decision to own a small business and gain a refreshing vision of how these changes will positively affect you.
